When it comes to “big” CBD companies, CBDistillery is about as big as they get, right up there in brand recognition with Charlotte’s Web. The company is dedicated to providing the masses with easy access to affordable and high-quality CBD. Their hemp is grown in the USA and they place a high emphasis on consumer education. CBDistillery is one of the most prominent voices in social media, with their #CBDMOVEMENT having over 440k mentions online. They were recently certified by the US Hemp Authority.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
For such a prominent company, CBDistillery’s corporate social responsibility is lacking. They don’t have any mention on their website of charities or social organizations that they support. We gave them 2 stars however, for their commitment to making high-quality CBD more accessible to all, and for offering discounts to veterans and service people. We’d definitely like to see a stronger commitment to social causes from the company.

CBDistillery is well-known for making CBD products affordable and their prices reflect this. They have a wide array of product selection, with a range of pricing. Their most popular products are frequently on sale on the website. Their newsletter sign-up gives you 5% off your first purchase. After signing up, they often have flash sales advertised through the newsletter. The company does not offer bulk pricing to the consumer, but they do have a wholesale program available to vendors. CBDistillery offers 10% off to veterans and service officials.

CBDistillery’s innovation is noticeably weaker than most other companies of the same caliber. Although they have a wide range of product selection, their formulations and products are about as simple as they get, with not much imagination or industry-pushing forward thinking we’d like to see. In addition, they lose several points due to having no mention of their extraction method.

Overall, we’re impressed with CBDistillery’s product portfolio and their commitment to accessible pricing. We love that they grow their hemp in the US and that they have a veterans discount program. However, CBDistillery is severely lacking in the areas of social responsibility and innovation. We’d love to see them step it up and start working with more charitable organizations. In addition, if they want to stay competitive in the field, they will need to start developing more innovative products. It is also extremely surprising to us that they do not disclose their CBD extraction method. Overall, they’re a strong company with a good reputation and they seem to be here to stay for awhile.
