Two groups of rats were injected with different amount. One group was treated with an amount of 10mg/kg and the other with 40mg/kg. In this study, the subjects injected with 40mg/kg of the aforementioned compound appeared to have an increase in total sleep time compared to the other group. Blood tests taken from the rats during their sleep have shown that it has affected the level of dopamine in the bloodstream. It then resulted to more relaxed and better sleep.
